All consultations require appointments, however we do keep openings for emergencies. They can be made by online booking or by calling our practice at 07 5496 6399.
Online bookings and returning patients can use the Self Check In point at our practice to save time and going through the registration process every time.

Wamuran Doctors is located halfway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, just 8 minutes from the Caboolture/Kilcoy exit of the Bruce Highway.
We are easily accessible from Caboolture, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Redcliffe and Deception Bay with a large number of on-site car parks and wheel chair access.
GP APPOINTMENT FEES HAVE CHANGED
Wamuran Doctors is now a mixed billing practice. Appointment fees will apply for most bookings. Discounted fees will be offered to some patients including children 15 and under, pensioners and concession card holders. The GPs consulting at our practice would like to have been able to continue bulk billing, but due to the unmoving Medicare rebate payable for the health services the doctors provide, unfortunately this is no longer sustainable for the clinic. We understand that everyone will have different feelings about this change. While you may be angry or upset, please make sure you do not direct this towards our team members – we are here to provide you with quality healthcare and being abusive towards our clinic staff will not help to change what is an issue with the government’s approach to Medicare. The BEST way you can help to action change is to make a complaint about the Medicare freeze. Please contact your local Federal member and ask them what they are doing to stop the freeze.

Doctor David Easton

Dr. Easton has practiced in the Caboolture area for more than 25 years.

Doctor Diarmuid de Burca

Dr Diarmuid de Burca joined our practice in January 2017 after relocating from Ireland with his wife and 3 of 4 daughters.

Doctor Lucy Ritchie
Dr Lucy Ritchie is going on 12 months maternity leave from January 2024.
MBChB FRACGP MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH
Dr Ritchie completed her medical degree at the University of Sheffield, UK, in 2011 (MBChB). She went on to complete her training in General Practice in 2016 and practised as a GP in the UK before relocating to Australia in 2019.
Dr Ritchie is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has also obtained additional Diplomas in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Doctor Monique Cook
Dr Cook completed her Medical Degree at Griffith University in 2013. Working in Logan, Toowoomba and Kilcoy while completing her GP training.
Dr Cook is delighted to be working at Wamuran Doctors as she grew up in the area and loves the lifestyle and the people.

Our front desk colleague, Tracey is the one that takes your calls and assists you when you come in for your appointment. She’s happy to help with useful information, other than specific medical issues, which are better addressed to our nurses and doctors.

Fiona is our experienced Practice Nurse – Treatment Room, working with us for 6 years now. Her clinical interests are in wound management, pap smears, women’s sexual health and Dermapen treatments. Practice Nurse – Chronic Disease, Natalia , joined our team in 2017.
